About Us

Skin55 Limited was founded in 2015 by husband and wife dermatologists Dr Saqib Bashir and Dr Ai-Lean Chew with the vision of establishing a world class medical skin centre in the heart of London's private medical district. Having worked extensively in the field both within the NHS and internationally they lead an experienced team in a well equipped clinic on prestigious Harley Street.

We are continually reviewing our practice in relation to infection control during the COVID-19 outbreak. As of 15th June patients or visitors attending @skin55limited must wear a face mask or face covering at all times. It does not need to be a surgical mask and you can even make your own from a scarf or old t-shirt. www.gov.uk/government/publications/how-to-wear-and-make-a-cloth-face-covering/how-to-wear-and-make-a-cloth-face-covering Our staff will also wear face masks at all times to ensure the risk of exposure to coronavirus remains low. This is in addition to our current measures which include - temperature checking all entering the clinic (temperature must be below 37.8°C) - having hand sanitiser available throughout the clinic and encouraging it’s use upon entry to the building - patients attending alone unless a companion is absolutely necessary - limiting the use of the waiting room, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment time as you may not be permitted to enter the building - regular cleaning of surfaces and environment Please do not attend the clinic if you have a high temperature (more than 37.8°C), new continuous cough, flu-like symptoms, or loss of sense of taste or smell. If you do have any of these symptoms or someone in your household does, please follow Public Health England guidance.
